As per the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister from the Departmental Summit on Water held on 1-2 September, 2026, it has been decided that five regional conferences will be held across the country by January, 2027. 

These regional conferences are intended to facilitate continuous review, effective follow-up, institutional coordination and accountability, as well as consultations and cross-learning among States, with a view to achieving actionable outcomes.
